The role:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our clients multidisciplinary allied health team, offering a unique opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of clients across the lifespan, predominantly paediatrics. Your role is centred around providing exceptional, evidence-based care to clients with a variety of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. This clinic takes pride in delivering a holistic and functional approach to therapy, supported by a strong foundation in peer-learning and evidence-based practice. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, assessing, and implementing individualized treatment plans, working closely with clients ranging from infants to adults, including those with NDIS funding, accessing Medicare funding, insurance, and private paying clients.

In this dynamic position, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings due to the flexible nature of our service delivery model. This practice includes clinic-based sessions, as well as the potential for community visits, school-based interventions, home visits, and the provision of telehealth services. This varied approach ensures the continuity and accessibility of care for your clients, offering both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the diverse needs of the clinics community.

As a Speech Pathologist, you will be integral in creating and nurturing an environment of growth and learning, not just for your clients but within the team as well. You will engage in ongoing education, keep abreast of the latest in research and methodology, and contribute to a culture of mutual respect, support, and knowledge-sharing. Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or relevant discipline
  • SPA Registration
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check/Orientation Modules,
  • Police Check
  • WWCC
