Our client is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Service Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of their Accommodation services in Sydney. The Role:
As the Service Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of services within the accommodation services. Reporting to the Regional/Senior Regional Manager, you will lead a team dedicated to supporting participants in achieving their goals and enhancing their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and modelling person-centered practices and support.
  • Collaborating with participants, families, and various stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Overseeing daily operations to maintain a safe and supportive environment for participants and staff.
  • Supporting financial viability while maintaining the quality of participant care.
  • Managing team performance, providing coaching, and facilitating professional development.
  • Participating in the on-call roster to provide continuous support as needed.
This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of care and service that our client is known for, ensuring that every participant receives the support they need to thrive.

Essential Criteria:
  • Essential : Minimum Certificate IV in Disability Support (or equivalent).  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, or a Diploma in Nursing (or equivalent) is ideal but not essential.
  • High energy and ability to attract, retain and motivate a team of support workers
  • Proven experience in leading teams and achieving strategic objectives within the disability sector.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in providing direct support to individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage, motivate, and mentor teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills with a focus on consultation and negotiation.
