The Role

If you’re experienced in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) support and ready to guide a dedicated team, this is your chance to step into a vital leadership role that drives positive change in the community.
As a Senior Case Worker, you will lead and support a team of seven case workers to deliver high-quality AOD case management services in line with recovery-oriented, person-centred models of care.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing day-to-day service delivery across assessment, referral, group work and interventions
  • Supporting team capability through coaching, supervision and reflective practice
  • Developing and monitoring client treatment plans and ensuring accurate documentation
  • Building strong referral pathways and stakeholder relationships
  • Leading team recruitment and contributing to a safe, inclusive and productive workplace culture

Requirements
To be considered, you will have:
  • A minimum Diploma qualification in AOD, Community Services or a related field, or extensive sector experience
  • Demonstrated experience supervising or leading staff
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based AOD frameworks and person-centred care
  • NSW Driver’s License
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements including police checks and Working with Children Check
  • A culturally competent, inclusive and respectful approach to working with diverse communities
