Our Client
A well-established paediatric service provider with multiple locations, specialising in the care and support of children, adolescents, and their families. The organisation features a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychologists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists, who work together to deliver integrated and comprehensive care.

The Role
As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents. The position offers exposure to a wide range of referrals and presentations. Staff benefit from continuous access to clinical supervision, peer support, and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments and create tailored treatment plans for children and adolescents.
  • Collaborate with psychologists, speech pathologists, and other health professionals to deliver cohesive care.
  • Communicate and coordinate with referrers and stakeholders, including GPs, paediatricians, child and adolescent psychiatrists, and teachers.
  • Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities.
  • Ensure documentation and reporting are completed accurately and promptly.
  • Independently manage a caseload of clients.
Essential Criteria
  • Australian accredited tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full AHPRA registration.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Working with Children Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
