The Role
As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents. The position offers exposure to a wide range of referrals and presentations. Staff benefit from continuous access to clinical supervision, peer support, and professional development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and create tailored treatment plans for children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with psychologists, speech pathologists, and other health professionals to deliver cohesive care.
- Communicate and coordinate with referrers and stakeholders, including GPs, paediatricians, child and adolescent psychiatrists, and teachers.
- Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities.
- Ensure documentation and reporting are completed accurately and promptly.
- Independently manage a caseload of clients.
- Australian accredited tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
- Full AHPRA registration.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Working with Children Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
