The Role:
Within a network of leading health, medical, and employment brands, a team of over 80 mental health clinicians delivers comprehensive face-to-face and telehealth support services. These services are tailored to address various mental health concerns for individual clients and corporate customers across Australia. The team offers opportunities to work within local communities and provides flexible options for remote work, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness in delivering essential mental health support.
You will be responsible for providing evidence-based mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with various mental health conditions, ensuring effective outcomes.
Duties include:
- Maintain a full caseload and manage clinician waitlist effectively, achieving 6 hours of direct client contact out of a 7.6-hour day.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and service delivery, generating repeat work.
- Achieve positive clinical outcomes, demonstrated by high client attendance and retention rates, low drop-out rates, improved client outcomes on standard measures, and positive client feedback.
- Deliver high-quality evidence-based mental health treatment to clients through in-person and telehealth sessions.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations to inform individualized treatment plans.
- Facilitate mental health training and educational programs for clients.
- Produce clinically appropriate and necessary written reports for referrers and stakeholders in compliance with funding requirements.
- Actively engage in monthly individual and group supervision sessions.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to uphold a high level of professional skill and knowledge.
Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary Qualification in a relevant mental health discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Nursing, Occupational Therapy).
- Registration with relevant governing bodies such as AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency), AASWPACFA, or ACA.
- State based Compensation Accreditation (SIRA, Worksafe etc) is desirable.
