The role:

To create a meaningful positive impact on the local community by utilising prior leadership experience in the health and community sectors. The aim is to oversee and improve the delivery of services designed to enhance community health and wellbeing, ensuring these services align with the personal preferences, needs, and strengths of our clients. Supporting day-to-day service operations by overseeing and managing the daily functions to ensure smooth and effective functioning. Ensuring the effective delivery of service and performance by monitoring and evaluating service delivery to uphold high performance and adherence to best practices. Contributing to service expansion and advancement by developing strategies for growth and improvement to meet evolving community needs. Facilitating integration and partnerships in the local community by fostering collaborations with local organisations and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and community engagement. Ongoing staff performance and development by providing leadership and guidance, promoting professional development, and ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery.

Essential Criteria:

• Fully qualified Social Worker, eligible for AASW Registration

• Ideally 2-3 years experience managing a team

• Experience working in a mental health setting 

• The ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
