The role:

As a Recovery Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in providing leadership and support to the team of Psychologists and/or Rehabilitation Counsellors. Collaborating closely with the National Operation Managers, you'll oversee the daily operations of the recovery and return-to-work services while mentoring and developing your team to maintain position as industry leaders in psychological recovery.

Key Competencies:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of 6 – 8 Recovery Specialists
  • Manage team utilisation and billings to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Allocate referrals to team members based on capacity, location, and skills matrix
  • Facilitate case reviews and ensure quality assurance of written correspondence
  • Support specific customers within a service line and attend claims strategy reviews
  • Manage your own caseload to provide exceptional services and outcomes for our clients.

Essential Criteria:

  • Registration with AHPRA, ASORC, or RCAA
  • Minimum 3 years of previous workplace rehabilitation experience
  • Experience in mentoring staff preferred
  • Strong understanding of best-practice psychological injury recovery principles
  • Excellent client management and communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and drive strategic claims discussions
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and identify solutions
  • Strong leadership capabilities and ability to motivate peers and customers
  • Desire to pursue a long-term leadership role
  • Ability to attend Sydney CBD Office as required
