The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Psychologist to join their busy Preston clinic. This role will focus on conducting a range of diagnostic and developmental assessments with children and adolescents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting diagnostic assessments for a range of neurodevelopmental conditions and learning challenges, including cognitive assessments (WISC, WPPSI), dyslexia, ASD, and ADHD.

  • Providing clear, thorough feedback and written reports to families.

  • Maintaining accurate case notes in line with professional standards and clinic protocols.

  • Participating in team meetings, psychology stream meetings, and professional development activities.

This role requires a warm, empathic approach and a genuine passion for helping children and young people reach their potential through neuro-affirming practice.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist.

  • Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number.

  • A current Working with Children Check.

  • Full Australian work rights.

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance.

  • Strong communication skills, with experience in report writing.

  • A commitment to neuro-affirming practices and helping children and adolescents achieve their potential.
