The role:
As a Physiotherapist you will play a vital role delivering specialized services funded under the NDIS within the community. Operating within the NDIS Workforce Capability Framework, your role encompasses more complex, specialized, and intense support activities, emphasizing participant-focused practices that promote choices, rights, and decisions.

Your daily tasks will involve performing initial evaluations of participants' needs, formulating treatment plans, conducting complex mobilization techniques, and educating both participants and the community on injury prevention and healthy lifestyles. A key aspect of your role is to maintain clear communication with participants, adapting to their unique needs, and fostering trusted relationships based on mutual respect. You will collaborate with support teams, including family, friends, advocates, and others, ensuring a comprehensive approach to participant care.

In the pursuit of participant well-being, you must be observant, responsive, and flexible to changing needs. Your commitment to health and safety includes prompt responses to participant discomfort, identification of potential risks, and compliance with all work health and safety protocols. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of support services, seeking feedback, adjusting plans as needed, and promoting the participant's active involvement in the review process. Your role as a Physiotherapist reflects the organisations dedication to providing high-quality, participant-centred care within the framework of NDIS and government legislative requirements
