The role: 
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering professional, effective, and efficient therapy services within a clinic environment and in community settings. Your responsibilities include assessing client needs, formulating goal-oriented therapy plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to enhance client functionality. The role encompasses a variety of client types, from early intervention for paediatric clients to adults with neurological conditions and disabilities, ensuring a broad and enriching professional experience.

Your daily activities will require maintaining accurate patient records, completing necessary correspondence such as letters and reports, and managing practice statistics. You will also engage in direct therapy provision at various locations, which requires organized and efficient diary management to handle a balanced caseload effectively. Attendance at practice meetings and relevant seminars is expected to ensure continuous alignment with organizational standards and practices.

As part of your role, you will be responsible for appointment book management and the supervision and mentoring of less experienced therapists, interns, and allied health assistants. This coordination role supports the overarching goal of enhancing the quality and reach of our services. Additionally, you may be involved in special projects and marketing activities relevant to promoting and expanding service delivery.

To excel in this position, you must demonstrate excellent occupational therapy skills, high attention to detail, and proficient record-keeping abilities. Effective time management and strong teamwork capabilities are essential to manage the diverse aspects of the job.
