The role:

Curamoir Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our clients' multidisciplinary team, providing specialized Allied Health services within a Key Worker framework to children aged 0-7 and their families who are accessing the NDIS. In this role, you will play an integral part in planning and delivering Occupational Therapy services in collaboration with NDIS participants, their families, carers, and other staff. Your mission is to support the implementation of therapeutic support strategies and interventions within various environments, empowering families with the knowledge and confidence to continue these strategies independently.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will excel in producing high-quality assessment and review reports, Family Services Support Plans, and other essential documentation. Your role extends to liaising with early childhood and other service providers to ensure holistic care for the children and their families. Your professionalism, dedication, and adherence to best practice principles are of utmost importance as you strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients. You will also maintain client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with NDIS guidelines.

Your work will not only bridge the gap between early childhood services but also extend to older children with disabilities, creating an essential referral pathway. As part of our collaborative team, you will actively contribute to peer support, participate in team meetings, and embrace the role of a Key Worker to facilitate high-quality communication among all team members. Continuous professional development, adherence to infection control standards, and an unwavering commitment to our clients' core values are fundamental aspects of your role.

Essential Criteria
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in early childhood or early intervention (desirable)
  • Current Police Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check
  • Driving License
