Major Duties
- Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills when working with families, children, and team members.
- Contribute to the development of education and knowledge, implementing DIR Floortime and Sensory Integration principles.
- Embed the clinic’s philosophy into daily practice, empowering parents to interact with their children through play.
- Promote excellence and cater to the needs of children and parents, ensuring they are both challenged and supported.
- Develop inclusive and engaging play opportunities to achieve individual goals and outcomes.
- Participate in individual clinic-based sessions, school-based interventions, parent coaching, and peer group intervention sessions.
- Be passionate about professional development and eager to continually learn more about the important work at the clinic.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis Training.
- Experience working with children with Autism is a bonus.
- High energy, willingness to continually learn, and a love for having fun with kids.
- Excellent time management skills.
- WWCC, Police Check, and NDIS Worker Clearance will be required.
- A current license is preferred.
