Our client is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional Disability Employee Rehabilitation and Risk Management services for nearly 20 years. They provide a collaborative and innovative environment for their team members to thrive.

The Role
They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our client's team in Adelaide. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting injured employees' recovery and facilitating their safe return to work.

Responsibilities include

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of work-related injuries and developing customised rehabilitation plans.
  • Collaborating with employers, insurers, and other stakeholders to coordinate rehabilitation efforts and facilitate timely return-to-work outcomes.
  • Providing occupational therapy treatment and implementing functional rehabilitation programs to optimise employees' capacity to perform their job duties.
  • Conducting ergonomic assessments and providing recommendations to minimise workplace injury risks.
  • Offering education and training sessions to employees on injury prevention strategies and promoting a culture of health and safety in the workplace.
  • Implementing a range of occupational therapy techniques to improve function, reduce pain, and enhance overall workplace performance.

Essential Criteria

  • Full AHPRA
  • Tertiary Qualification.
  • Proven experience in occupational health or rehabilitation settings.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of musculoskeletal injuries and experience in developing return-to-work programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sound knowledge of ergonomic principles and experience conducting workplace assessments.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
