Billable Hours: 5.2 hours per day

The Job
Our client is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide comprehensive assessments and therapy plans for clients with varying needs, including complex care, intellectual disabilities, and mental health challenges. In this role, you’ll build strong connections with clients and their support networks, promoting independence and well-being through targeted interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality assessments and interventions to enhance clients’ functional outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients and their support networks to design and implement effective care plans.
  • Regularly evaluate therapy programs and adjust as needed to support clients' goals.
  • Actively engage in clinical supervision and mentoring sessions to refine skills and ensure best practices.
  • Maintain timely documentation and uphold ethical and legislative standards in all client interactions.
Essential Criteria
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, registered with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 12 months of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong understanding of the health, aged care, or disability sectors, ideally with community-based experience.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
