The role:
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities? Our client is seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists to join their dynamic team. This family-owned and run allied health business provides both mobile and in-clinic therapy to the Brisbane community and surrounds. Their holistic care approach and supportive work environment aim to help clients and staff alike flourish and reach their full potential.

In this community-based role, you can choose to work full-time or part-time, with a minimum of three days per week and the option of working on Saturdays or evenings. You will work with clients who have lifelong disabilities, whether congenital or acquired. Your daily routine will be varied, including in-clinic appointments, home visits, and sessions at schools, childcare centres, or other community locations to meet client needs.

Your caseload will be tailored to your skills and the needs of our client, and may include working with paediatric, adolescent, or adult clients. These clients may have physical, intellectual, or psychosocial disabilities. You will be well-supported by Senior Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, and a robust Administration Team, ensuring you have the resources and assistance needed to excel in your role.

As an Occupational Therapist with our client, your responsibilities will include face-to-face client sessions, completing notes, creating resources, liaising with stakeholders, and report writing. You will provide a variety of OT services, such as functional capacity assessments, assistive technology recommendations, skill development, home modifications, neurological rehabilitation, and vehicle modifications. Your goal will be to help clients achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.
