The Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you'll be responsible for:
  • Conducting thorough assessments to identify client needs and goals
  • Providing recommendations for home modifications, equipment prescriptions, and assistive technology applications
  • Developing personalised therapy plans based on assessment findings and evidence-based practices
  • Implementing targeted interventions to achieve desired outcomes
  • Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary team members and stakeholders
  • Monitoring client progress through ongoing evaluation and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Providing education and support to clients, their families, and caregivers
Essential Criteria
  • Desirable field experience (e.g., 2 years minimum), new graduates welcome.
  • Solid knowledge of disability sector, including NDIS, assessment services, and/or private practice.
  • Proven track record with positive outcomes working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and intervention skills, using evidence-based approaches.
  • Required checks: NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children, National Police Clearance.
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration.
  • Possession of valid Australian Driver’s License.
  • Clear understanding of assistive technology (AT) for improved client outcomes.
