The role

• Provide advanced nursing care, leadership, and governance within the practice.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients' health problems.
• Promote preventative health care with a focus on patient education.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with legislative standards.
• Participate in clinical leadership, quality improvement activities, and professional development opportunities.

Criteria

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Advanced clinical experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer literacy and medical record systems.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement.
• Desirable: Experience in general practice settings, familiarity with quality improvement processes, and understanding of cultural issues influencing healthcare practice
