The Role
Our clients’ programs coordinate multiple services across many sectors to ensure collaborative and integrated support to benefit the people who require them.
The successful candidate will work as a leader, facilitator and influencer towards the shared goal of improving the health and wellbeing of local communities. The key purpose of this role is to provide clinical guidance and oversight to enable the delivery of best practice community health initiatives and service efficiency. This includes planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the services to ensure all stakeholders receive the most effective outcome resulting in an improved value proposition. You will provide day to day clinical oversight into the PCCS Psychological Service in the region. You will ensure the program is delivering high quality and client centred service to clients via phone or face-to-face in timely manner, while ensuring mechanisms are in place to support a seamless transition for clients to appropriate services. You will oversee day to day operations, staffing and training, and will serve as a first point of contact for urgent inquiries and crisis support, you will also be responsible for incorporating quality and clinical governance into program delivery while supporting the team through modelling and coaching high-quality practice and ensuring the service operates within the standards for clinical practice.

Essential Criteria 
  • AHPRA accredited master’s degree in psychology
  • Accredited supervisor, desirable, not essential 
  • Advanced clinical leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated advanced knowledge base specific to medical diagnoses and related social health issues presenting in the community.
  • Knowledge of community and health support services in PCCS catchment area
  • 5 years + experience working with clients with severe mental health issues
  • Experience in program management, reporting and operational
  • Experience in leadership roles and managing clinical team
  • Experience in supervising students/junior clinical staff guidelines
  • NDISWC, WWCC, Police Check and valid driver's license
