The Role:

The Injury Management Specialist will play a critical role in delivering tailored workplace rehabilitation services aimed at facilitating clients’ return to work and overall wellbeing. Responsibilities include:

  • Meeting return-to-work (RTW) benchmarks and liaising with all stakeholders to address client needs.
  • Conducting various assessments (worksite, ergonomic, vocational) and developing personalized programs for clients.
  • Maintaining service quality through accurate case documentation and adherence to industry standards.
  • Engaging in critical case reviews and representing the team in client meetings when necessary.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, or a WorkCover accredited discipline, with current professional registration.
  • Experience: At least one year in occupational rehabilitation or injury management is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills, with experience liaising with insurers, employers, and medical professionals.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality service and foster repeat referrals.
  • Mobility: Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
