We're seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to provide top-notch care to those in need in a community role covering Sydney's Inner and Eastern suburbs. 

On offer:

  • Full-time Permanent position 38 hours p/w
  • Clinical Nurse Grade 2 (Level1-2) rates NSW Public Health system - salary $98-108k + super

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality care to vulnerable individuals experiencing isolation, marginalised from accessing health services, at risk of homelessness, and with chronic-complex health conditions.
  • Take a leadership role in coordinating nursing and health care across different contexts to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Practice independently and interdependently with extended scope, autonomy, and decision-making responsibilities.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2, you will:

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care to diverse age and cultural groups, including individuals, families, and communities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for client-focused goals and health outcomes.
  • Take the lead in coordinating nursing and health care, making appropriate referrals, and consulting with other health professionals and support services.


Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications with minimum three years' clinical experience
  • Ability to work within interdisciplinary teams at a senior level
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development, effective communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, including email and electronic patient record systems
  • Integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking, and analysis in daily practice
  • Effective time management and prioritisation abilities within complex environments
  • Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
