About Our Client:
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join their award-winning allied health team as a Clinical Lead. If you are an Advanced or Specialist PBS practitioner, this opportunity will be perfect for you!

Furthermore, they are a reputable and accredited provider of injury prevention and management and disability employment services to government and corporate organisations. The Role:

This role is focused on delivering best practice in the organisation, providing clinical supervision and enquiring quality assurance. You will also run a small portfolio where you will meet with participants and their support network, conduct assessments , and develop behavioural support plans and programs. This role involves working with adults and on occasion with young adults. It will also involve:
  • Developing Functional Behavioural Assessments and Positive Behaviour Support Plans
  • Providing direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions after assessment and diagnosis 
  • Providing training, support, and clinical supervision of Behaviour Support Practitioners/Behaviour Therapists
  • Using behavioural, psychological, and evidence-based theories to develop and implement program designs and interventions
  • Develop and maintaining professional relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Adhering to NDIS quality and safeguard commission requirements

Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support e.g., Positive Behaviour Support, Developmental Education, Psychology, Social Work, Behavioural Science, Applied Behaviour Analysis.
  • Current registration within relevant professional body
  • 3-4 years’ experience demonstrating positive behaviour support services. Or demonstrated complementary clinical competencies.
  • High-level of oral and written communication skills including the demonstrated ability to prepare and finalise technical reports
  • Compliance checks including the NDIS Workers Screening Check, National Criminal History Check, WWCC and NDIS Practitioner ID and Self-Assessment. Or meets the requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (Positive behaviour Support Capability Framework).

  • Valid Driver Licence
