THE ROLE:

Our client is a leading Not For Profit across the welfare remit. They Provide both high & low care and their residential facilities offer a range of services. Within this position, you will support a care team and work across an 80 bed / 170 bed facility or across both.

The duties of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Conducting nursing assessments for individuals and groups, and formulating care plans that provide optimal quality of life for the residents
  • Coordinating and monitoring the planning, implementation and evaluation of service outcomes, liaising with the broader team on care needs
  • Providing leadership and support to team members, assisting with orientation of new members, identifying learning needs and providing training and development.
Criteria
  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Experience with Aged Care electronic care systems
  • Sound understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation standards and AN-ACC processes
  • Experience working with older people and their families or representatives
