About the role:
This role entails collaborating closely with the Practice Lead to offer clinical direction and mentorship to the clinical teams within the centers. Its primary objective is to assist in guiding the clinical teams in delivering top-notch services to young individuals, aligning with the client's contractual obligations. Alongside the Practice Lead, this position will also contribute to the development, evaluation, and implementation of services. Moreover, it involves providing clinical supervision, assistance, and advice as necessary to practitioners, support staff, and other clinical personnel.

Supervise and manage processes to ensure the proper planning and coordination of cases for clients. Proactively monitor clients at high risk and ensure the delivery of quality services in accordance with evidence-based principles. Supervise service delivery and collaborate with private practitioners to ensure the provision of quality services and ongoing satisfaction. Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of services for young people (aged 12-25) and their families, in line with the clients agreements. Contribute to the development of program goals and plans guided by the Strategic Plan, community needs, and feedback from youth, staff, and stakeholders. Anticipate, identify, and analyze major risks or problems when relevant, and develop and implement solutions to achieve desired outcomes.

Essential Criteria:
  • Approved tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline including social work or psychology.
  • Full registration with AHPRA or eligibility for full membership with AASW.
  • Advanced level of clinical skills and demonstrated experience in a range of mental health service settings (minimum 5 year’s experience).
  • Experience in complex clinical triage, assessment and allocation of referrals.
  • Experience in service development and maintaining continuous quality improvement.
  • Proven ability in the leadership of multidisciplinary teams, including the provision of clinical supervision and the facilitation of clinical review and performance management processes.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills; and an excellent track record in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a highly productive environment with time pressures whilst managing multiple tasks.
  • WWCC/ Police Check or drivers licence
  • Covid Vaccinated
