The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join their national team, focusing on the growth of disability support services across North Central NSW. This is a critical role, responsible for driving participant placements by building strong referral networks and converting leads across Supported Independent Living (SIL) and community-based services.

The successful candidate will engage with families, Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Local Area Coordinators, and allied health professionals to promote the organisation’s services. The position also involves representing the organisation at community events, facilitating participant onboarding, and managing the end-to-end intake and quoting process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving new business development across SIL and other disability support streams
  • Building and managing referral pipelines from key stakeholders and community organisations
  • Representing our client at networking events, expos, and conferences to increase brand visibility
  • Coordinating property tours and participant onboarding
  • Preparing tailored quotes and service proposals aligned with individual NDIS plans
  • Tracking and reporting stakeholder engagement and conversion metrics using a CRM system


Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in the NDIS sector, preferably in business development, intake, or support coordination
  • Strong understanding of SIL, ILO, and SDA models and participant pathways
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve performance targets
  • Willingness to travel interstate as required
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
