Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioural assessments tailored to individual needs.
- Develop and implement evidence-based, person-centred behaviour support plans.
- Oversee the use and reduction of restrictive practices in accordance with the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to support teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality therapeutic services.
Essential Criteria
- Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with NDIS (Proficient level) or eligibility for registration.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health discipline.
- Knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguarding principles, including behaviour support and restrictive practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in facilitating group sessions, coaching, and mentoring.
- A strengths-based and person-centred approach to service delivery.
- A positive and contemporary attitude, with a commitment to enhancing quality of life for people with disabilities.
