Your Role:
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you'll be essential in delivering individualized support to clients across NSW. Your responsibilities will include:

 
  • Assessing clients' needs, strengths, and areas for growth comprehensively.
  • Designing and implementing behaviour support plans based on best practices and individual goals.
  • Collaborating with clients, families, caregivers, and teams to provide holistic support.
  • Training and guiding clients' support networks for effective implementation of strategies.
  • Monitoring progress, collecting data, and adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Staying updated with the latest research in behavior analysis and positive support strategies.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field.
  • Certification as a Mental Health Social Worker (AASW).
  • BCBA certification is a plus.
  • Experience in behavioral assessments and support plan development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
