The Role:
Within this role, you will work across an alcohol or other drugs service model that is culturally appropriate and meets the needs of Indigenous Communities within the Sydney region.
Our client is a leading Not-for-profit, multi-site organisation that offers a diverse range of residential and community services for those impacted by the complexities of alcohol and other drug dependency. They make a difference to the life and health of individuals, their families, friends and
the wider community due to alcohol and other drug dependency.
Criteria
• Being Aboriginal or a Torres Strait Islander is a genuine occupational requirement for this position under s 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
• Qualifications across community services
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of health issues that affect indigenous people
• Experience undertaking assessments of people
• Experience working across mental health, non-government or AOD services
• Current Drivers Licence
• Vaccination
