The Role
As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will deliver high-quality therapy services to clients in their homes and communities. This includes providing speech therapy assessments and intervention plans for both children and adults, with a focus on communication and mealtime management. You will collaborate virtually with a team of multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic, client-centered care. Your responsibilities will include maintaining client records, managing caseloads, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and certifications.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing a wide range of speech and language supports to individuals with diverse needs
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive intervention plans
  • Collaborating with clients, families, and other health professionals to achieve the best outcomes
  • Managing caseloads and completing necessary administrative tasks
  • Advising on specialist equipment and techniques to enhance communication
Essential Criteria
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in Speech and Language Pathology
  • Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Ability to work autonomously from a home-based office and manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in using technology for virtual collaboration and client management
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a registered, insured vehicle
  • Relevant certifications such as Working with Children Checks and National Police Checks as required
