The Role

The Speech Pathologist will function independently, delivering top-tier speech therapy services to NDIS participants aged 2-65 years. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialised clinical services to clients with a range of disabilities, such as Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability, and other neurological conditions.
  • Engaging in clinical in-service education programs for students.
  • Actively enhancing therapeutic services through positive impacts on service delivery and client outcomes.
  • Offering efficient, timely, and cost-effective services in participants' homes, schools, or clinics, as best suited to their needs.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong desire to deliver high-quality support to individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work both independently and within a team in a busy setting.
  • Familiarity with privacy and confidentiality issues.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • WWCC, Police Check and NDIS screen check.
  • SPA Registration.
  • Completed university degree in Speech Pathology.
