The Role:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Pathologist to join their team. The successful candidate will be part of an organisation committed to delivering quality early childhood education, intervention, and family support services.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, providing essential services to children with additional needs and their families.

As a Speech Pathologist you will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech pathology services to families with children who have additional needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based interventions to support children and their families.
  • Conducting assessments and reviews, and documenting outcomes in a timely manner.
  • Engaging in family-centered practice and respecting the individual cultures and beliefs of each family.
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure a holistic and consistent approach to intervention.
  • Maintaining an effective timetable to meet service delivery targets
  • Participating in team meetings, clinical supervision, and professional development activities.
  • Adhering to organisational policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.

Essential Criteria:

  • A recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Current Driver’s Licence and access to own car
  • NDIS Worker Check, WWCC, and National Police Check.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR).
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Intermediate skills in technology use, including CMS and Office 365.
  • Strong planning, organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within organisational values, policies, and procedures.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
