The role:
As an Occupational Therapist in this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care that empowers older Australians to remain safe and independent in their homes. Your day-to-day duties will include conducting comprehensive home safety assessments, recommending assistive equipment or home modifications, and preparing clear, timely reports that support positive client outcomes. You’ll work collaboratively with clients, families, and stakeholders to ensure services are tailored to each individual’s needs while promoting dignity, inclusion, and respect throughout the process.

You’ll also be expected to manage a diverse caseload efficiently, contribute to service delivery targets, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with regulatory standards. Your strong communication and time management skills will be essential as you liaise with internal teams and external partners to support seamless service delivery. Participation in ongoing professional development is encouraged to help you stay current with best practices in aged care and occupational therapy.

Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline
  • AHPRA registration (can support Limited Reg/AHPRA supervision)
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Screening Check
  • Full driving license and access to reliable vehicle
